1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using ClearRate Calgary ("the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Platform.

2. Nature of the Platform

ClearRate is a community-driven data sharing platform. We are not an insurance broker, agent, or financial advisor.The data presented on this platform is entirely user-submitted and is intended for informational and comparative purposes only.

3. Accuracy of Information

Because our data is crowdsourced, we make no guarantees regarding the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any rates or information displayed.Always verify insurance rates directly with a licensed Alberta insurance broker or provider before making any purchasing decisions.

4. User Obligations

By submitting data to ClearRate, you agree:

  • You will only submit accurate, truthful information regarding your own insurance policy.
  • You will not submit false, misleading, or fabricated rates.
  • You will not use the platform to harass, spam, or scrape data.

We reserve the right to remove any submissions or terminate accounts that appear to be submitting fraudulent or anomalous data.

5. Data Retention

Rate submissions are retained in our active database for 12 months. After this period, they are automatically expired to ensure the platform only displays current data.

6. Liability

ClearRate and its creators shall not be held liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from your use of the Platform or any decisions made based on the information provided herein.

7. Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the Province of Alberta and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein.
