ClearRate Calgary was born out of frustration with the "black box" of auto insurance pricing in Alberta. By providing a secure, anonymous space for drivers to share what they actually pay, we bring transparency to the market and help fellow Calgarians discover if they are overpaying.

We intentionally avoid collecting identifying details like your name, exact address, or driver's licence number. Your identity remains 100% private.
How It Works
Give a rate to get full access. Sharing your current annual premium anonymously unlocks detailed neighborhood statistics, the Heat Map, and our AI Rate Analyst tool.
Calgary Focused
Auto insurance rates vary heavily by location. We map data at the FSA (first three letters of postal code) level to give you localized, neighborhood-specific comparisons.

ClearRate Calgary is an independent civic tech project built by Calgary-based software developers and consumer advocates. We are not affiliated with, funded by, or associated with any insurance company, broker, or government regulatory body. Our platform operates entirely as a free community utility.
