Basic profile details (age bracket, years licensed, FSA), vehicle details, insurance provider, coverage types, and driving history ranges to power our analytical engine.
What We DO NOT Collect
Full name, date of birth, driver's licence number, SIN, VIN, insurance policy number, full address, gender, or credit score.
How We Use Your Data
We process your submissions to generate localized heatmap analytics, compile anonymized market trends for industry research, and facilitate connections with verified insurance professionals when you seek a better rate.
Data Retention
Rate submissions expire automatically after 12 months. Profile data is retained until you permanently delete your account.

We specifically and intentionally DO NOT collect or store any of the following:
- Your full name
- Your date of birth
- Your driver's licence number
- Your Social Insurance Number (SIN)
- Your Vehicle Identification Number (VIN)
- Your insurance policy number
- Your full address
- Your gender
- Your credit score
3. What We DO Collect
To provide accurate comparative data to the community, we collect the following limited information:
Profile Information:
- Email address (used only for authentication and optional updates)
- Anonymous username
- Age bracket (e.g., 25-34)
- Years licensed
- First three characters of your postal code (FSA)
- Driver type (primary, occasional, new)
- Marital status
Submission Information:
- Vehicle details (year, make, model, trim)
- Odometer range and annual kilometres driven
- Insurance provider and annual premium
- Coverage type and deductibles
- Parking situation
- Number of at-fault accidents and violations (ranges only)
- Whether a telematics/UBI discount is applied
4. How We Use Your Data

5. Third-Party Sharing
We do not blindly sell personal profiles to ad networks. We monetize by providing completely anonymized, aggregated market insights to industry partners. Your specific contact details are never shared with a broker unless you explicitly request a competitive quote.
6. Data Retention and Deletion
Individual rate submissions automatically expire and are removed from active display after 12 months. Your profile data is retained until you choose to delete your account. You have the right to access, correct, or permanently delete all your data at any time via your Profile page.
